Roseanna Mae Vann, 67, of Spavinaw, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, August 3, 2015 in Pryor, Oklahoma. She was born on December 23, 1947 in Claremore, Oklahoma, the daughter of Thomas Thompson and Lizzie Beth (Ross) Thompson. She married George Vann on July 25, 1965 at Salina, Oklahoma. Roseanna earned her Master's Degree in Education from Northeastern State University at Tahlequah, Oklahoma. She loved her family and all the time spent with each. She will be so very missed by all who knew and loved her. Private family gravesidel services will be held at 2:00 p.m on Friday, August 7, 2015 in the Grass Cemetery with Reverend Floyd Kingfisher officiating. Interment will be in the Grass Cemetery with George "Tiger" Vann, French Vann, James "Bird" Wolf, Michael "Salol" Sawney, John Buzzard, and Jerry Linn serving as casket bearers. She is survived by her husband, George Vann of the home; two sons, French and wife, Verna Vann of Siloam Springs, AR and George Vann of Spavinaw, OK; sister, Sally Thompson of Locust Grove, OK; 4 grandchildren, Sara, Molly, Samantha and Courtney; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Thompson and one grandson, Jonathan.
