Ruby Warren

Ruby Dorothy (Crawford) Warren, 98, passed away on Friday, November 24, 2017 in Adair, Oklahoma surrounded by her family. She was born on April 30, 1919, in Macks Creek, Missouri the daughter of John Franklin Crawford and Mary Elizabeth (Carter) Crawford. She married Andrew Warren, moving to Adair, Oklahoma in 1972 from Arvin, California. Ruby is of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, gardening, and especially caring for her rose bushes. She dearly loved her family and especially the Sunday lunches with them all. Her grandchildren were her most valued treasures and she was the most kind and loving grandmother that anybody could ask for. She was an amazing woman and her family loved her dearly. She will be very missed by all who knew and loved her.

Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, November 30, 2017, at 1 p.m., in the Fairview Cemetery with Chaplain Roger Miller officiating. Casket bearers will be her grandsons, David Warren, George Warren, John Warren, Jimmy Sanderson, Darrell Rye, Steven Rye and Scott Warren. Honorary casket bearers will be her granddaughters, Kathryn McKee, Suzi Long, Bobbie Martin, Mary Sanderson, Jeanne Lutz, Lori Keen, Cami Lloyd, and Jenni Warren. She is survived by two sons, Fred A. Warren of Adair, Oklahoma and James Warren and Susie Ollar of Adair, OK; daughters, Jean and husband, Gerald Rye of Adair, OK and Ruth Sanderson and husband, Bob of Adair; 15 grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends; and by her constant companion and beloved dog, Fifi. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Crawford; husband, Andrew Warren; son, John Warren, daughter in laws, Claudette Warren and Anita Warren; great grandson, Taylor Keen; brother, Bill Crawford; sisters, Edith Wynn, Ethel Gates, Ruth Back and Marvine Boswell.
