Sarah Andrus

Sarah Catherine Andrus, 89, of Pryor, passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 in Pryor, Oklahoma. She was born on December 16, 1924 in Marionville, Missouri; the daughter of John and Elsie (White) Cryderman. She married John Andrus on June 17, 1941 in Marionville, Missouri. Sarah enjoyed golfing in her younger years and loved to take walks and cook. She looked forward to watching "Judge Judy" on television. She especially looked forward to traveling and seeing new places. Sarah attended the Walnut Grove Church in Broken Arrow. She leaves behind many wonderful memories and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 6, 2014 in the Landmark Church in Marionville, Missouri with Reverend Mike Cummings officiating. Interment will be in the Mt. She is survived by her son, John Andrus and Yvonne Cope; daughter, Celesta and husband David Madewell of Pryor; brother, Jeff and wife Ann Cryderman of Harrisonville, Missouri; 3 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her sisters Billie Winter and Francis Dunkle and parents, John and Elsie Cryderman.
