Scott Dewey, 31, of Golden, Colorado, passed from this life on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 in Eldorado Springs, Colorado. He was born on August 8, 1990 in Claremore, Oklahoma; the son of Robert Dewey and Kristy (Koskie) Wagner. He grew up around Pryor and Salina, graduating from Salina high school in 2008. He then joined the Air Force where he proudly served for 10 years. He loved life and lived it to the fullest. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and rock climbing. He was currently studying Geology at the Metropolitan State University of Denver. A loving son, brother, uncle, and friend, he leaves this world much too soon and will be remembered for all the memories he leaves behind.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 7, 2021 in the Shipman’s Funeral Home Chapel with Randy Huddleston officiating. He is survived by his parents, Robert Dewey of Salina and Kristy Wagner of Tulsa; his brothers, Bobby Dewey and wife Allison of Tulsa, and Shawn Dewey of Salina; his sisters, Sara Dewey of Pryor, and Lauren Dewey of Tulsa; his nieces, Kaylynn Cummings, Sophie Dewey, and Olivia Dewey; his nephew, Kaine Cummings; dear friends, Lauren Moyer of Golden, Colorado, and Erin Bohler of Colorado; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Earl and Kathleen Dewey; maternal grandparents, Arthur and Nancy Koskie; brother, R.W. Lamb; and uncle, Shawn Koskie.
