Shannon Malone, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 50. Born on September 25, 1974, in De Witt, Arkansas, Shannon brought joy and laughter into the lives of everyone around him.

Shannon was known for his great sense of humor and his knack for pulling a good prank. His playful spirit and endless jokes made him a cherished jokester among friends and family. He had a sweet spirit that, while sometimes rough around the edges, always shone through, especially when surrounded by his loved ones.

His passions were diverse, from his love for music and cooking to his profound affection for his dogs and his steadfast love for trucks and guns. He was an independent man, preferring to tackle challenges on his own, often found tinkering, and fixing, and building various projects around the house. Shannon had a stubborn side that endeared him to those who knew him well; he would never shy away from doing things his way. He also loved any opportunity to travel.

One of his proudest accomplishments was marrying the love of his life, Kelly on July 1, 2019, in Bentonville, Arkansas. The spontaneous decision to wed solidified their bond, and they spent their years together creating wonderful memories filled with love and laughter.

Shannon is survived by his loving wife, Kelly Malone, of the home; his children, Isaiah Malone of Arkansas, Blane Carnes of the home, Riley "Bo" Allen of De Witt, AR, Haley Harper and husband Drake of Pryor, OK, Cassie Carnes of the home, and Rebecca Malone of Arkansas. He leaves behind his mother, Rebecca Whitaker, and brother, Clifford Adam Malone, both of Indiana.

Shannon is predeceased by his father, Larry Gene Malone, and maternal grandparents, Edward and Nola Midkiff.

No services are planned for Shannon at this time. To leave a message, please visit his guestbook at www.shipmansfuneralhome.com. Arrangements are under the direction of Shipman's Funeral & Cremation Service of Pryor.
