Shannon Wenona Sharp

Shannon Wenona Sharp, 45, of Salina, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 in Tulsa. She was born on February 5, 1977 in Pryor, Oklahoma; the daughter of Dale James Kingfisher and Joyce (Smith) Chambers. Shannon worked in the home most of her life, tending to the needs of the household and her daughter, Heaven. She was very creative and enjoyed drawing and spending time with her family. Shannon was a loving mother, daughter, sister and “Aunt Sissy” to her nieces and nephews. She had a special love for her brothers and enjoyed each moment she had to spend with them. She leaves us much too soon and will be lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 5, 2023 in the Blue Springs Church in Salina with Reverend Lorne Beck officiating. Burial will follow in the Grass Cemetery with Skake Kingfisher, Spencer Kingfisher, Justin Smith, Shane Smith, Eric Smith, and Wahoo Beaver serving as casket bearers. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 4, 2023 in the Shipman’s Funeral Home Chapel. Shannon is survived by her daughter, Heaven Kingfisher of Spavinaw, Oklahoma; father, Dale Kingfisher and wife Sally of Kenwood, Oklahoma mother, Joyce Chambers and husband Rob of Salina, Oklahoma; brothers, Skake Kingfisher of Salina, Oklahoma and Spencer Kingfisher and wife Chali of Salina, Oklahoma; boyfriend, Dustin Dunham of Spavinaw, Oklahoma; father of her daughter, Jimmy “Critter” Sharp;  nieces and nephews, Lali Kingfisher, Stonehawk Kingfisher, Braiden Kingfisher, and Calvert Kingfisher; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Clarence and Marian Smith; Claude and Betty Kingfisher; and uncles, Carl Smith, William Kingfisher, Mike Kingfisher, and Clarence Kingfisher.
