Shawn McCord

Shawn Elizabeth McCord, 46, of Salina, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2019 in Pryor. She was born on September 14, 1972 in Tulsa, Oklahoma; the daughter of Mike and Nancy (Douma) McCord. Shawn enjoyed going to the creek and drag racing with Adam. She looked forward to spending time with her children and grandchildren. Shawn was loving, thoughtful, loyal, and sometimes a spitfire. She will be remembered for her bright personality and even brighter smile.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 18, 2019 in the Shipman’s Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Stanley Henson officiating. Shawn is survived by her husband, Adam Hale of the home; daughters, Nancy McCord of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Elizabeth Lynn and husband Eric of Adair, Oklahoma; 2 brothers, Frank “Bubba” Shipley of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Doug McCord of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and grandchildren, Davin, Addy, Gabby, Sierrah, Railey, Zoey, Kaitlynn, Bladen, and Kyden; and many other relatives and friends.
