Sheila Kay Jumper

Sheila Kay Jumper, 59, of Pryor, passed from this life on Thursday, May 26, 2022, in Tulsa. She was born on March 30, 1963, in Claremore; the daughter of Robert Hogshooter and Jessie (Vann) Coker. She took pride in caring for others, especially elders and practiced as a CNA for 20 years. She enjoyed sitting around visiting with her family, listening to music, and coloring on her phone. She attended the Band of Believers church and loved going to various church activities. She also enjoyed going to the creek, getting her nails done, watching scary movies, and any Madea movies. She was a loving wife, mother, grandma, and friend. She leaves behind many memories for all to cherish and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services for Sheila will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at the Euwasha Baptist Church with Reverend Dee Bendabout officiating. Burial will follow in the Euwasha Cemetery with Stevie Smoke, Mathieu Nirschl, Bryce Jumper, Cherokee Sharp, John Battle, and Tyler Hogshooter serving as casket bearers. Honorary casket bearers will be William Mayberry, Billy Smoke, and Josh Jumper. A wake service will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, June 6, 2022 in the Shipman’s Funeral Home Chapel. She is survived by her husband, Roosevelt Jumper Jr. of the home; children, Brandon Lee Buzzard of Tulsa, Melisha Kay Davidson and husband Eric of Spavinaw, Amanda LaDonna Miller of Tulsa, Mecheal Kay Hogshooter of Pryor, Jesse Jackson Hogshooter of Langley, William Jackson Buzzard lll and wife Brittney Jumper of Pryor, Janatha Dawn Anderson of Afton, Dustin Shane Jumper and wife Brittany Shrader Jumper of Pryor, Kevin Jumper of Grove, Dakota Rex Hogshooter of Jay, and Desaree Denice Hogshooter of Pryor; grandchildren, Markeyta Everleigh-James Carter, Ryder Kent Schrader, Kyzer Bentley Jumper, Elijah William Mayberry, and numerous other grandchildren; siblings, Ronnie, Darlene, Renee, David, Gary, Naomi, and Sammy; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert James Hogshooter and Jessie Lee Coker; brothers, Walter Allen Hogshooter, and Robert James Hogshooter Jr.; sister, Marry Ann Hogshooter; and son, Brent Shawn Jumper.
