Shelly Ann Couch Snodgrass, 51, of Chouteau, passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2023 in Tulsa. She was born on October 5, 1971 in Pryor; the daughter of Jerry Neal and Brenda (Elrod) Couch. She faithfully served her country in the United States Army. Shelly earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Education from NSU. She worked as a first and second grade teacher for Tulsa Public Schools and for many years at Chouteau Public Schools. Shelly had a heart for children and loved being a teacher. She also enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially when she was able to go hiking and bicycle riding. She was actively involved with the Ainsley’s Angels Group for charity. She was a loving mother, daughter, grandmother and friend and leaves behind many memories for her family to remember.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 11, 2023 in the Chouteau Gymnasium with Reverend Andy Pilant officiating. Shelly is survived by her son, Bradley Snodgrass of Mazie, Oklahoma; daughters, Lauren Couch of Mazie, Oklahoma, and Taylor Snodgrass of Mazie, Oklahoma; sister, Kim Larremore and husband Darrin of Chouteau, Oklahoma; granddaughter, Marleau Desmarais; mother, Brenda Couch of Chouteau, Oklahoma; partner, Jeff Kimball of Chouteau, Oklahoma; ex husband and life long friend, Billy Snodgrass of Mazie, Oklahoma; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Jerry Couch.
