Sherry Phillips

Sherry Lynn Phillips, 45 of Salina, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2016 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born July 24, 1971 in Claremore, Oklahoma; the daughter of Mixwater and Nancy (Davis) Buckskin. She loved Nascar, OU football and enjoyed watching them on TV. Sherry would spend quality time doing church activities and beading. She loved her family and looked forward to spending her time with them especially her nieces and nephews, she cherished each moment she had to spend with them. Her disposition was being positive, always smiling and having a bubbly attitude. People that knew her would say her laugh would light up a room. She will be remembered by all the wonderful memories she leaves behind and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 14, 2016 at the Blue Springs Church in Salina, with Pastor Buddy Ross officiating. Burial will follow in the Euwasha Cemetery in Kenwood with Brad Phillips, Timothy Phillips, Danny Jo Fisher, Kevin Backwater, Dale Scott, Travis Budder and Darrin Budder-Hon serving as casket bearers. Honorary Casket bearers will be Greg Backwater, Gerald Sapp and C.J. Randel. A Wake service will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., Sunday, November 13, 2016 in the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel in Pryor, Oklahoma. Sherry is survived by her mother, Nancy Buckskin of the home; 2 brothers, Steven Phillips and wife Donna of Pryor, Dennis Phillips and wife Carla of Kenwood; 2 sisters, Tyra Buckskin and Cory Nedd of Kenwood, Doris Kirby and husband Steve of Eucha; host of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father, Mixwater Buckskin; 1 brother, Dewayne Phillips; 2 nephews, Ryan Phillips and Stephen Phillips.
