Skip Mohl, passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2024 in Pryor, Oklahoma. He will be forever remembered by his beloved family and friends.Skip was born on October 28, 1965, to William E. Mohl and Martha Anne (Sheppard) Lipsey, in Santa Clara, California.He loved his family, grandkids, and friends dearly. The more company that came to see him the better. He was an avid football junkie and his Raider’s could do no wrong. His sense of humor was out of this world. Rather it was clean, dirty or sick and twisted, he could make everyone laugh. Skip loved old cars, going to car shows, fishing, camping, and swimming. He also found peace in playing music on his guitar. Skip was a good man and will be dearly missed by everyone.

Skip is survived by his wife, Vicki, of the home; son, David Minnix and wife Jessica of Cabot, Arkansas; son, Shawn Looper and fiancé Christina of Ward, Arkansas; daughter Latasha Garcia and husband Amos of Springdale, Arkansas; Brandon Mohl of Bald Knob, Arkansas; Courtney Earls and Husband Bryan of Hickory Ridge, Arkansas; Cody Martin and wife Brittany of Salina, Oklahoma; his twelve grandchildren, Kylee, Carson, Wyatt, Avery Martin, Jackson, Austin, John Paul Minnix, Ivan, Payton, Gabe, Tico, and Lily Reyes; and a host of extended family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother, Martha Anne Lipsey; father, William Mohl; daughter, Emily Anne Mohl, grandmother, Nancy Sheppard; and grandfather, George Sheppard.

Funeral services for Skip will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at Shipman’s Funeral Home Chapel in Pryor, with Deacon Al Cox officiating. Burial will be held at Graham Memorial Cemetery with Joe Cole, Chris Taylor, Brian Pearson, and Nate Frazier serving as casket bearers. Honorary casket bearers include Cody Martin, David Minnix, Amos Garcia, Robbie Sheppard, and Ryan Sheppard. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at Shipman’s Funeral Home in Pryor.
