Stanley Crawford

Stanley Alonzo Crawford, 69, of Adair, passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 in Adair. He was born on January 31, 1944 in Pryor, Oklahoma; the son of Carl and Ellen (Bump) Crawford. He was a member of the Tulsa Plasterer Union Local #312 and worked as a plasterer in Tulsa most of his life. Stanley enjoyed the outdoors. He loved to go hunting, fishing and to watch eagles. He also enjoyed checking on the cows each morning and watching them in the pasture. Stanley enjoyed visiting with his friends and family. But what he loved the most was the time spent with his loved ones. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 15, 2013 at 10 a.m. in the Shipman's Funeral Chapel with Reverend James Rice officiating. Interment will follow in the Adair Cemetery with Drew Crawford, Logan Crawford, Randall Shultz, Randy Fiedler, Mike Goodson and R. J. Shultz serving as casket bearers. Honorary casket bearers are Jeffery Shultz, William Crawford, Bo Goodson, Ronnie Lee Garner, Arville Gene Crawford, Carl Lee Crawford, Michael Crawford and Marcus Crawford.9847.35 The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday evening. "Bill" Crawford and wife, Maxine of Pryor, OK, Hershell Crawford and wife, Jeanette of Oktaha, OK, Marvin Crawford and wife, Pat of Pryor, OK; sisters, Mary Jane Walker and husband, Clayton of Tulsa, OK, Bessie Shultz and husband, Wayne of Adair, OK, Jessie Garner and husband, John of Pleasanton, TX, Cora Carlene Crawford of Amarillo, TX and Millie June Testerman and husband, Butch of Amarillo, TX; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Ellen Crawford; brother, Arville Crawford and sister, Ida Graves.
