Stephen Beckham

Stephen Alan Beckham, 60, of Pryor, Oklahoma, passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 in the VA Hospital in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He was born on November 23, 1952, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the son of Rual and Ernestine (Story) Beckham. He faithfully served his Country in the United States Air Force. Stephen was a member of the First Church of God and enjoyed playing the drums and guitar for his church. He was an avid OU Football and OKC Thunder fan. Stephen will be so very missed by all who knew and loved him. Funeral Services for Stephen will be held on Friday, September 20, 2013 at 2 p.m. in the First Church of God with Reverend Andrew Rehbein officiating. Interment will follow in the Chouteau North Cemetery with military honors. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday evening. He is survived by his son, Nathan and wife, Erica Beckham of San Antonio, TX; sister, Valerie and husband, Walt Taylor of Pryor, OK; niece, Whitney Taylor of Pryor, OK; one granddaughter, Ashley and one grandson, Luke; aunts, Dorothy and husband, Jim Wiggins of Tulsa, OK and Phyllis and husband, Harley Geurin of Tulsa, OK; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rual and Earnestine Beckham; one infant son, Jeffery.
