Steven Rose

Steven Dale Rose, 64, of Chouteau, passed away on February 22, 2018 in Pryor, Oklahoma. He was born on April 18, 1953 in Tulsa, Oklahoma; the son of Wallace and Martha Mae (Tugman) Rose. Steven attended and graduated from McClain High School and went to work at the Catoosa Test Facility as a Driller. Steven enjoyed the outdoors; especially when he was fishing or riding motorcycles. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and had a special place in his heart for his grandchildren. He cherished each moment he had with them. He leaves behind many wonderful memories and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Steven is survived by his son, Steven Rose of Pryor, Oklahoma; daughters, Lisa Garrison and husband Ray of Pryor, Oklahoma, Becky Atwell and husband Vince of Chouteau, Oklahoma, and Chrisie Stone and husband BJ of Claremore, Oklahoma; 13 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; special friend, Lisa Miskell of Chouteau, Oklahoma; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother, Martha Murphy; father, Wallace Rose; and infant son.
