Sue Wheeler

Sue Wheeler, 57, of Pryor, Oklahoma passed from this life surrounded by her family July 15, 2010 in St. Louis, Missouri. She was born to Oscar and Anna Irene Summerlin on May 26, 1953 in Noel, Missouri. She valued three things in life above all God, family and friends. Sue was a dedicated, loving wife, mother and grandmother. She worked many years as a caregiver. She was an avid bird watcher. She found great joy in cooking and baking for her family and with her grandchildren, and also enjoyed reading and sewing. Sue also loved attending basketball games and the multiple activities of her children and grandchildren. Her devotion to her family created a bond that will never be broken. Sue was an extraordinary wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be so very missed by all. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. in the Discover Church in Chouteau, Oklahoma. Interment will follow in the Chouteau West Cemetery. Sue is survived by her husband Keith of the home; 4 children, Trina Shepperd and husband John, Heather Wheeler, Kevin Wheeler and wife Sarah, Travis Wheeler and wife Jamie all of Pryor, OK; 8 grandchildren, Miriam, John Keith, Emma, Erin, Jace, Tate, Zechariah and Alexis; sisters Mary Lemmings and husband Tony of Claremore, OK and Ruby Zilinski of Bartlesville, OK; brothers Gene Summerlin of Rose, OK and Laverghn Summerlin and wife Jean of Grove, OK, Johnny Summerlin and wife Glenda of Elkland, MO and Danny Summerlin and wife Sheila of Pavillion, WY; as well as many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Oscar and Anna Summerlin; 2 sisters Sharon Bowlin and Anna Belle Appignani; 2 brothers Jimmie Summerlin and Loyd Summerlin.
