Summer Turner, born on May 24, 1956, in Redlands, California, passed away on May 2, 2024, in Pryor, Oklahoma. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend to many.

Summer was known for her passion for farming and living off the grid. She found joy in tending to her chickens, goats, dogs, and cows. Gardening and being surrounded by animals brought her immense happiness. Summer had a soft spot for big dogs, particularly Irish Wolfhounds and Great Danes. Her compassionate nature extended to all living creatures - she couldn't resist helping stray animals she came across. Her love for cooking led her to experiment with new recipes regularly. She cherished her family deeply and was a devoted mother to her kids and grandkids. In her younger years, Summer was affectionately called Ricky by her loved ones due to being her daddy's "boy." She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and unconditional love.

Summer is survived by her children Isaac Livengood, Ira Sutherland, Autumn Sutherland, Ekewaka Adlawan, Ekekela Adlawan; grandchildren Kat Livengood, Jamon Sutherland, Hazel Sutherland, Aiden Adlawan, and Brundon Adlawan. She is preceded in death by her parents Grover and Mary Maling. She has also been reunited with 2 sets of triplets and 1 set of quadruplets.

A memorial service is planned by the family at a later date. To leave her family a message, please visit her guestbook at www.shipmansfuneralhome.co. Arrangements are under the direction of Shipman's Funeral & Cremation Service of Pryor.
