Susan Kingfisher

Susan Renee "Chub" Kingfisher 44 of Salina, Oklahoma passed away on April 9, 2011 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The daughter of Joe Fannie (Chuckluck) Kingfisher was born on March 16, 1967 in Claremore, Oklahoma. Chubby loved spending time with her family. She spent her time enjoying her life and always had a laugh. Chubby was very giving person who never met a stranger. She especially enjoyed her nieces and nephews. Whatever sports or event they had Aunt Chub was there to support them and cheer them on. Even after she became handi-capped she still manages to go watch Tishena play ball. Chubby was a graduate of Salina High School with the class of 1985. She will be greatly missed by all she knew, but most of all by her family and friends and all of the cookouts. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday April 13, 2011 in the Blue Springs Church of Salina, Oklahoma with Reverends Richard "Duke" Pickup and Reverend Lorne Beck officiating. Burial will follow in the Grass Cemetery at Salina, Oklahoma with Christopher Pickup, Bradley Montoya, Tuffy Kingfisher, Davie Dale, Tat Toss and Stan Ross serving as casket bearers. Honorary casket bearers are Bill Rogers, Buddy Ross, Chris Pickup, Onie Pickup and Champ Pickup. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday evening from 6 p.m. till 8 p.m. at the Shipman's Funeral Home in Pryor. She is survived by her father Joe Kingfisher of Salina, OK; her sister, Tina Chris Montoya; two nephews, Christopher Pickup Bradley Montoya; four nieces, Crystal Montoya, Melody Pickup, Tishena Montoya, and Marcia Montoya. She is also survived by many Uncles, Aunts other relatives. And her special friend Bill Rogers. To welcome her home in heaven is her Lord Jesus Christ; her sister, Sonja and her infant Sister; her bother Duane and her Grandparents other family.
