TanaLea Decker-McCune

Tanalea Decker-McCune, age 69, passed away at her home on Tuesday, December 12, 2023. She was born
on April 1, 1954, in Alexandria, Virginia, to Merwyn and Elsie (Frink) Decker.

Tanalea sewed for many years, making clothes for her children as they grew up and continued to sew
into her retirement years. Using her talent to make things for others was something she enjoyed. She
also passed the time through reading. She enjoyed escaping into the worlds created by her favorite
authors.

Left behind to honor the memory of Tanalea, are her children, Shayne Ralston and Tabatha Walters;
brothers, Mike and Jay; sisters, Tikadonah and Toni; eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; as
well as many extended family members and friends.

Tanalea is preceded in death her husband Jon McCune; parents, Merwyn and Elsie Decker; and
brother, Dale.
