Tanya Wright

Tanya L. Wright, 64, of Claremore, passed away on Monday, September 1, 2014 in Pryor, Oklahoma. She was born on April 13, 1950 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma; the daughter of Paul and Lena (Sweet) Perego. Tanya had many special talents. She loved to drawing and painting. She also had a talent for jewelry making. Tanya enjoyed learning about her Indian heritage and would collect Native American artifacts. She looked forward to spending time with her children and cherished each moment she had to spend with them. She leaves behind many wonderful memories and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 4, 2014 in the Talala Cemetery in Talala, Oklahoma with Reverend John Blackwell officiating. Casket bearers will be Terry Gruschin, Paul Perego, Nick Gruschin, Mick Wright, Thomas Sweet, Marcus Grimes, and Billy Sweet. Tanya is survived by her children, Thomas and wife Angela Sweet of Catoosa, Oklahoma, William and wife Diane Sweet of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, Tarrance Gruschin of Claremore, Oklahoma, Cynthia and husband Marcus Grimes of Forney, Texas, Shannon Long of Mesquite, Texas, Christina Adamson of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Jennifer and husband J.P. Gappoutte of Tulsa, Oklahoma; her brother, Paula and wife Lea Perego of Callahan, Florida; aunt, Lucy Patterson of Okmulgee, Oklahoma; 20 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.
