Teresa Manis

Teresa Manis, 52, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, passed this life on Monday, May 13, 2013 at her home. She was born on November 9, 1960 in Harbor City, California, the daughter of Jess Sunday and Nellie (Scuggins) Sunday. Teresa married Rick Manis on July 13, 1979 in Pryor, Oklahoma. She has worked all her adult life with her husband in ministry bringing faith and hope to thousands of people. She was totally in love with Jesus and was always willing to go anywhere or do anything to show His love to others. She touched so many lives, and was called "Mom" all around the country. She inspired many to aspire to a walk of grace and love. Funeral Services for Teresa will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2013 in the Jubilee Ministries in Locust Grove, Oklahoma with Reverends John Alley and Albert Wofford Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Grass Cemetery in Salina with Will Wofford, Cliff Wofford, Mike Wofford, Harold Wofford, Gerald Wofford and Charles Scuggins serving as casket bearers. The family will receive friends and family at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday evening. She is survived by her husband, Rick of the home; her daughters, Kristy Manis of Orlando, FL and Brook and husband, David Hochstetler of Jacksonville, FL; brother, Nick Sunday of Chouteau, OK; sisters, Jane Davis of Pryor, OK and Dianna Sunday of Tulsa, OK; two grandchildren, Nicolette and David Hochstetler; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jess and Nellie Sunday.
