Terry Wayne Epperson

Terry Wayne Epperson, born on September 16, 1964, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, peacefully passed away on June 23, 2023, in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 58.  Throughout his life, Terry dedicated his time and energy to his career at Epperson Painting. As a painting contractor, he brought life and color to countless spaces. Terry's commitment to his work was admirable and greatly appreciated by those who had the pleasure of witnessing his craft. In addition to his successful career, Terry had a deep passion for various hobbies and interests. He found great joy in renovating homes, putting his skills to use in creating beautiful living spaces for others. Terry's need for speed led him to indulge in the thrill of driving fast cars, where he would experience the freedom and exhilaration that came with it. Furthermore, he possessed an independent spirit which manifested in his desire to control his own time schedule. Terry Wayne Epperson will be sorely missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known him. His warm smile and kind heart made a lasting impact on the lives of family, friends, and colleagues. As we mourn his loss, we also celebrate the legacy he leaves behind.

Visitation will be held in the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel in Pryor, Oklahoma on July 9, 2023. The gathering will take place from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 10, 2023 in the Graham Memorial Cemetery with Bobby Jo Epperson, Steven Epperson, Justin Epperson, Trenton Stipes, Rayden Stipes, and Tawnya Epperson serving as casket bearers. Terry is survived by his wife, Donna Epperson of the home; sons, Justin Epperson of Pryor, Oklahoma, Jordan Epperson of Pryor, Oklahoma, and Sammy Jo Epperson of Kansas, Oklahoma; daughter, Tawnya Newan of Peggs, Oklahoma; sister, Kathy Shelby of Claremore, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Brayton, Trenton, Rayden, Keaton, Chloe, Zoey, and Harper; and great grandchild, Maggie J. He is preceded in death by his son, Brandon Epperson; and brothers, Delbert Epperson and Dale Epperson.
