Terry "Pop Pop" Don Foster, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, passed away on August 1, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was known for his dedication to his family and his passion for life. Terry built a career as a technician and team leader that spanned several decades, including five years at Melton's Dodge in Claremore, OK, following a remarkable 30-year tenure at the Pryor Dodge Dealership. His work ethic and commitment to excellence were evident in all that he did. Outside of work, Terry's true joy came from his family. He spoke of them with pride to his coworkers and friends, showcasing the deep love he held for each of them and loved them fiercely. He was selfless in every sense, always prioritizing his family's needs and extending a helping hand to others without hesitation. In his younger years, Terry found excitement in racing cars and spent countless hours cheering on his children at their sporting events. He was their biggest supporter and took great delight in watching them succeed. As a doting grandfather, he showered his grandchildren with love and affection, creating cherished memories that will last a lifetime. Terry also found peace and freedom in riding his motorcycle, enjoying the open road and the wind on his face. The legacy of Terry "Pop Pop" Don Foster lives on through those who were fortunate enough to know him. He touched the lives of many with his kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for his family.
Services to honor and remember Terry will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 9, 2024, at Life Fellowship Church in Pryor with Pastor Josh Greer officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, August 8, 2024, at Shipman's Funeral Home in Pryor. Terry is survived by his wife, Kristi Foster of the home; son, Nate Foster of Pryor, Oklahoma; daughters, Kayla Gross and husband Michael of Pryor, Oklahoma, Kourtney Foster of Pryor, Oklahoma; and Kelsey Haremza of Pryor, Oklahoma; 5 grandchildren, Karsyn, Treyton, Beckett, Walker, and Weston; brother, Eddie Foster and wife Ronene of Pryor, Oklahoma; sister, Debi Adams of Ponca City, Oklahoma; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Ruby Foster; granddaughter, Kambree Grace; brother-in-law, Roy Adams; and sister, Sherry Lynn Foster.
