Theresa Haskins

Theresa Faye Haskins, 66, of Pryor, passed away on Monday, May 2, 2016 in Pryor, Oklahoma. She was born on June 24, 1949 in Blair, Nebraska; the daughter of Roy John and Eugenia (Stout) Showalter. Theresa retired from Orchid Paper Products, where she worked as a supervisor for many years. She enjoyed spending time outdoors, going fishing and camping. Theresa looked forward to working in her garden and watching the hummingbirds. She also liked to go to the casino and play slot machines. Above all, Theresa cherished each moment she had to spend with her grandchildren; they were her pride and joy. She leaves behind many wonderful memories and will be missed by all who knew her. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 6, 2016 in the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Keith McGowen and Tommy Parker officiating. Burial will follow in the Ross - Mayes Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m, Thursday, May 5, 2016 in the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel. Theresa is survived by her husband, George Haskins of the home; daughter, Anita Golbek and husband Calvin of Tiawah, Oklahoma; mother, Eugenia Showalter of Pryor, Oklahoma; brothers, Randy Showalter and wife Jerri of Boatman, Oklahoma and Lee Sperling, Jr. and wife Carla of Locust Grove, Oklahoma; sisters, Denise Tate and husband Larry of Pryor, Oklahoma and Debbie Sperling of Ponca City, Oklahoma; 6 grandchildren, Andrew Neel, Joey Haskins, Hunter Haskins, Gunner Haskins, Meranda Golbek, and Malarie Golbek; 1 great grandchild, Dorian Neel; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her biological father, Roy John Showalter; her dad, Lee Ray Sperling, Sr.; and her son, Andrew Haskins.
