Thomas Arnold

Thomas Hayden Arnold, 78, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away on Sunday, August 22, 2010 at his home. He was born on July 3, 1932 in Pryor, Oklahoma, the son of William Allen Arnold and Rosa Lena (Hayden) Arnold. Hayden faithfully served his Country in the United States Army. He married Joyce Casey on August 3, 1956 and had celebrated 54 years together. He retired in 1988 from Uniroyal Goodrich Company. Hayden was a member of the ChristLife Church of God. He was a life member of the VFW Post 7180 in Owasso and a member of the DAV Chapter 44 in Claremore. He was also a member of the Rubber Workers Union. He loved fishing and gardening. Hayden loved his family and will be so very missed by all who knew and loved him. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at 11 a.m. in the Shipman's Funeral Chapel in Pryor, Oklahoma with Reverend Jeff Anderson officiating. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Pryor. The family asks that memorials be made to the ChristLife Church of God at P.O. Box 691242, Tulsa, OK 74169. He is survived by his wife, Joyce of the home; his son, Thomas Arnold of Tulsa, OK; his grandchildren, Clohe Arnold of Claremore, OK and Megan Arnold of Tulsa, OK; his brother, Thurman and wife, Thelma Arnold of Pryor, OK; his sisters, Maxine and husband, Jeff Harris of Adair, OK, Wanda and husband, Jerry Helt of Pryor, OK and Geraldine Bryant of Pryor, OK; former daughter-in-law, Denise Stephenson; grandchildren's mother, Melody Miller of Foyil, OK; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Mark Arnold; brothers, W.A. "Lefty" Arnold and Preston Arnold; sister, Mary Jean Williams; parents, William and Rosa Arnold.
