Thomas Scoggin

Thomas Patrick "Pat" Scoggin, 73, of Wyandotte, Oklahoma, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at his home. He was born on April 16, 1944 to Thomas and Darlene Scoggin in Coffeyville, Kansas. He graduated from Will Rogers High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Pat faithfully served his Country in the United States Army, serving 5 years including a tour in Vietnam. He married Betty Pancoast on July 25, 1987 in St. Martin's Episcopal Church in Pryor, Oklahoma. They lived in Pryor for over 30 years before moving to Wyandotte, Oklahoma in 2008. He was known by his friends as Aqua man. He enjoyed four wheeling and flying RC airplanes. Pat was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather who leaves so many memories for all to cherish.

A Farewell Party and meal will be held on Friday, February 2, 2018 at noon in the Wyandotte Community Center. Everyone is welcome to come to celebrate his life. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Shipman's Funeral & Cremation Service.

Pat is survived by his wife, Betty Lou of the home; his son, John Scoggin and grandson, Thomas of the home; Son, William and wife, Terri Scoggin of Claremore, OK; daughters, Christa Scoggin, Angela and husband, Joshua Salisbury all of Claremore, OK; 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; and one adopted granddaughter, Deborah O'Dell; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Darlene Scoggin and one son Brian Scoggin.
