Towanda Gordon

Towanda Marie Gordon – Davis (Wise), 51, of Pryor, passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at her home. She was born on August 12, 1968 in Kansas City, Missouri; the daughter of Jack and Carol Wise. She held various jobs throughout her life, but her favorite job was working in her own home raising her 4 children. She also enjoyed listening to music, cooking, attending church services and most of all, taking pictures. Her children fondly remember her taking them outside to play, going fishing and spending time together. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held throughout the weekend at her home at 1220 S.E. 9th Street Apartment D-88 in Pryor. Please visit her home to sign the register book and for viewing. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 13, 2020 in the Wolf Cemetery near Seminole, Oklahoma. Towanda is survived by her husband, Sammy Davis of Pryor, Oklahoma; mother, Ramona Wise; children, Ryan Ellis and Kiley of Pryor, Oklahoma, Jacob Davis and Breanna of Pryor, Oklahoma, Jeremiah Davis of Pryor, Oklahoma and Brandi Brown and Michael Brown of Pryor, Oklahoma; 6 grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Carol Wise and uncle, Jimmy Wise.
