Trina

Trina D. (Wheeler) Shepperd, 42, was born on October 18, 1970 in Pryor, Oklahoma to Keith and Sue Wheeler. Trina was raised and attended school in Pryor and graduated from Pryor High School in 1988. Trina married John Shepperd on April 13, 1991 in Chouteau, Oklahoma. Trina and John made their home in Pryor, Oklahoma and were married for 22 years. They raised two wonderful children together. Trina loved sports and had many athletic accomplishments. Among those were winning the 1987 4A softball state championship and being named to the 1987 All-State softball team. Trina also enjoyed fishing and boating with her husband and children, as well as, attending sporting events her family members were involved in. Above all things she enjoyed spending time with her family. Trina passed this life on May 5, 2013 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, surrounded by her family. A Celebration of Trina's life will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 2 p.m. in the Pryor High School Auditorium. Trina is survived by her husband, John of the home; daughter Miriam Shepperd; son, John Keith Shepperd; father Keith Wheeler; sister, Heather Wheeler; two brothers and sister-in-laws, Kevin and Sarah Wheeler, Travis and Jamie Wheeler; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sue Wheeler.
