Vickie Sue Swearengin, 60, of Pryor, passed away on May 18, 2016 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on June 17, 1955 in Tulsa, Oklahoma; the daughter of Roy W. and Erma (Davis) Simmons. Vickie married Robert Swearengin on November 30, 1990 at Bryan Chapel in Boatman. She worked as a homemaker most of her life and also worked for 8 years at Labinall in Pryor. She enjoyed spending time outdoors and going fishing. She loved to work on computers, play on facebook and work on word search puzzles. Vickie also enjoyed movies; such as twister. Above all, Vickie looked forward to spending time with family, especially her new grandson, Easton. One of her main hobbies was baking and cooking dinners for her family. She leaves behind many wonderful memories and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. No services are planned at this time. A private burial, next to her husband, Robert will take place at a later date in the Bryan Chapel Cemetery in Boatman. Vickie is survived by her son, Robert Swearengin and wife Kasey of Pryor, Oklahoma; brother, Roy Simmons and wife Vickie of Keota, Oklahoma; sister, Carolyn Gee and husband Ronald of New Haven, Missouri; and 1 grandchild, Easton Lane Swearengin. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Swearengin, parents, Roy W. Simmons and Erma (Davis) Simmons, brother, Terry Simmons, and sister, Debbie Bishop.
