Virgil Lee Crow, 69 passed away Saturday, July 6, 2013 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He was born on October 10, 1943 at Pryor, Oklahoma, the son of George and Lillie (Smith) Crow. Virgil faithfully served his Country in the United States Army where he served with pride during Vietnam. He enjoyed bowling and his dogs. Virgil enjoyed being active, square dancing with many groups around the area for years. He was a member of the Kuntry Kuzzins Square Dancer's in Tahlequah. He worked for Vogue Motorcoach in shipping and receiving. He leave many wonderful memories for his family and friends to cherish. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 12, 2013 at 10 a.m. in the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel, Pryor, Oklahoma with Reverend Junior Mullin officiating. Serving as casket bearers are Larry Crow, Leland Hunsaker, David Crow, Leroy Crow, and James Cope. Interment will follow in the Graham Memorial Cemetery with full military honors given by the United States Army team from Ft. Sill, Oklahoma. Survivors include his son, Daniel and his wife Kim Crow of Pryor; 2 grandchildren, Danielle and Hunter Crow of Pryor, OK; 2 brothers, LeRoy Crow of Pensacola, OK and Larry Crow of Pryor, OK; 2 sisters, Mary Yates and Roberta Gabbard of Miami, OK; 1 sister-in-law, Tilly Crow of Pryor, OK. Virgil was preceded in death by his wife Mary and sons James and Robert Crow; parents, George and Lillie Crow; brothers, David, Bennie and Donald Crow; sisters, Judy Hoskins and Dorothy Mays.
