Virginia Newby

Virginia Lee Newby, 74, of Spavinaw, Oklahoma on Saturday, March 19, 2016 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on September 8, 1941 in Spavinaw, Oklahoma, the daughter of Woodrow and Charlotte (Payton) Newby. Virginia loved watching cooking shows on television. She loved spending time with those she loved and especially her children and grandchildren and looked forward to all the outdoor activities they enjoyed together. She will be so very missed by all who knew and loved her. A private family graveside was held in the Spavinaw-Strang Cemetery. Virginia is survived by her son, Don Morrow and wife, Lavina of Spavinaw, OK; daughters, Jeanette Morrow, Diana Robertson and husband, Moe of Spavinaw, OK; grandchildren, Bridgette Morrow of Spavinaw, OK, Tashenah Morrow of Pryor, OK, Maggie Payden of Spavinaw, OK, Jerod Payden of Spavinaw, OK and Ashley Blair of Okmulgee, OK; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Woodrow and Charlotte Newby; her sister, Shirley Lane; brothers, Lawrence Newby, Neal Newby and Gary Newby.
