Vivian LaRue Berry Fraley Kerr Bolton, aged 91, of Eucha, Oklahoma, formerly of Adair, passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, in Grove, Oklahoma. Born on June 23, 1933, in Big Cabin, Oklahoma, she exemplified a life marked by love, devotion, and community engagement.

A loving grandmother, Vivian cherished her family above all. She is survived by her husband, Mike Bolton, of the home; her son, Mark Fraley and wife Amanda of Adair, Oklahoma; her daughter, Nancy Crawford and husband Rod of Emporia, Kansas, and daughter-in-law, Seretta Fraley of Adair, Oklahoma. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Suzanne Duncan and husband Amos, Matthew Fraley and wife Alana, Melissa Crawford, Megan Davis and husband Kenny, Maddelyn Fraley, and Michael Fraley and wife Kasey, as well as her great-grandchildren, Brett, Chipper, and Pudge Fraley, Lawson, Ensley, and Rival Davis, Kennedi and Brooks Fraley, Charlotte and Annabelle Duncan, and Cole and Raylee Atchley.

Vivian’s love for her children and grandchildren was evident in her active participation in their lives, especially evident through her attendance at their sporting events. She delighted in nurturing her family through her cooking and baking, becoming well-known for her beloved chocolate Texas sheet cake and homemade grape juice, which were favorite treats among her grandkids.

Her faith played a significant role in her life; Vivian was devoted to her church community. She was a dedicated member of the South Grand Lake Baptist Church where she taught preschool children in Sunday school, imparting her values and passion for music to the younger generation. Over the years, she also attended the Adair Christian Church and the Adair Methodist Church, fostering her spiritual journey. A lover of gospel music, Vivian shared her musical talent by playing the piano and organ for many years.

Vivian Fraley Bolton will be remembered for her unwavering love, her dedication to family and faith, and her profound impact on all those who were blessed to know her.

Vivian was preceded in death by her parents, David and Harriette (Crow) Berry; her husbands, Gene Fraley and Bob Kerr; her daughter, Jane Price; her son, Gordon Fraley; her brother, Gerald Berry; her sisters, Annabelle Ironside, Velta Reneberg, and Sylvia Conrad; and her grandson, Drew Crawford.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 22, 2025, in the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Stewart Henderson and Pastor Derek Melton officiating. Interment will follow at the Adair Cemetery with Matthew Fraley, Michael Fraley, Amos Duncan, Kenny Davis, Mike Myers, and Don Hedges serving as casket bearers. A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, March 21, 2025, at Shipman's Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Shipman's Funeral & Cremation Service of Pryor.
