Vivian Ethel Gann, 78, passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2011, at her home. She was born on August 26, 1933 in Terlton, Oklahoma, the daughter of Arnold Simon and Susan E. (Adkinson) Simon. She married Everett Gann on August 26, 1950 in Arkansas, who preceded her in death in 1996. She was of the Baptist faith. Vivian was a member of the Tulsa Auxiliary Policy for 5 years. She worked as a caregiver at Woods Nursing Home. She enjoyed crocheting and reading. Vivian enjoyed gardening and being outdoors. She was a wonderful cook, especially her pies. She enjoyed being with her children and grandchildren. She will be so very missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral Services for Vivian will be held on Friday, November 18, 2011 at 2 p.m. in the Pleasant View Baptist Church with Reverend Jerold Pilant officiating. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery with Steve Cook, Andy Pilant, Patrick Pilant, Tommy Reynolds, Michael Gann, Jimmy Cook, Lloyd Harris, Chris Ferrell, Michael Peck, Danny Honel, Larry Honel and Brian Honel serving as casket bearers. She is survived by her children, Michael Gann, Susan Gann, Linda Pilant and Lois Reynolds; her brother, Gordon Gann; her sister, Martha Hankins; 11 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Gann; her son, Tom Gann;l her brother, Arnold Simon; her parents, Arnold and Susan Simon.
