Vivian Hair

Vivian Fay Hair, 69, of Salina, passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2020 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. She was born on June 3, 1951 in Kenwood; the daughter of Sam and Goldie (Dreadfulwater) Smoke. Vivian married Jess “Butch” Hair on April 11, 1972 and they celebrated 29 years of marriage before Butch's passing. She worked in the nursing industry most of her life, retiring from the Claremore VA Center as an LPN. Vivian enjoyed going to the casino, reading, and spending time with family and friends. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 3, 2020 in the Shipman’s Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Duke Pickup officiating. Burial will follow in the Jack Ribbon Cemetery with Dustin Moore, Sam Smoke, Brandon Daniels, Wallus Hair, Nick Hair and Brett Pickup serving as casket bearers. Honorary casket bearers will be Chris Smoke, Stevie Smoke, Derrick White, Warrior Meashintubby, and Marwin Leaf. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 2, 2020 in the Shipman’s Funeral Home Chapel. Vivian is survived by her son, Jamison Hair and Kendall Budder of Wickliffe, Oklahoma; daughter, Jennifer “Sis” Hair of Salina, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Kevin Hair and Kyler Hair of Wickliffe, Oklahoma and Kaeden Mendez, Jeriah Budder, and Raynee Nofire; great grandchild, Echota Redbird Budder;  brothers, William Smoke and wife Debbie of Peggs, Oklahoma, Andrew Smoke and wife Brenda of Vinita, Oklahoma, Johnny Smoke of Jay, Oklahoma, Billy Smoke and wife Judy of Locust Grove, Oklahoma, and Smokey Dreadfulwater Smoke and wife Brenda of Seattle, Washington; sisters, Virginia Young of Spavinaw, Oklahoma and Pauline Meashintubby of Salina, Oklahoma; sister in law, Joann Smoke of Ketchum, Oklahoma; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Butch Hair; parents, Sam and Goldie Smoke; and brothers, Joe Smoke and Sanford Smoke.
