Wanda Helt

Wanda Sue Helt, 72, of Pryor, passed away on Sunday, June 24, 2018 in Claremore, Oklahoma. She was born on August 6, 1945 in Pryor, Oklahoma; the daughter of William Allen and Rosa Lena (Hayden) Arnold. Wanda worked as a homemaker most of her life and enjoyed watching crime scene television, judge and court shows, and reality television. She looked forward to spending time with her family; especially when it came to spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She leaves behind many wonderful memories and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 29, 2018 in the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, June 28, 2018 in the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel. Wanda is survived by her daughter, Kari Aburajab and husband Mo of Pryor, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Shaylan Boggs and husband Jared of Pryor, Oklahoma, Krista Akins and fiancé Duane Watkins of Pryor, Oklahoma, Shelby Helt of Pryor, Oklahoma, and Austin Helt of Pryor, Oklahoma; great grandchildren, Addison Boggs and Benjamin Boggs, brother, Thurman Arnold of Pryor, Oklahoma; sisters, Maxine Harris and husband Jeff of Adair, Oklahoma and Geraldine Bryant of Pryor, Oklahoma; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Rosa Lena and William Arnold, husband, Jerry Leon Helt; son, Jerry Lane Helt; brothers, WA "Lefty" Arnold, Hayden Arnold, and Preston Arnold, sister, Mary Jean Arnold.
