Wanda Otto

Wanda Marie Downs Otto, 80, passed away on Friday, April 22, 2011 in a Tulsa Hospital. She was born on August 12, 1930 in Orange County, California, the daughter of Lon Holloway and Sarah (Gage) Holloway. She married Tommy Downs on August 23, 1949 in Pryor, Oklahoma. Tommy preceded her in death in May of 1990. She enjoyed needlepoint and crocheting and also making ceramics and painting. Wanda enjoyed the outdoors fishing and gardening. She worked in the Pryor Nursing Home. She and Tommy owned a car wash in Claremore which she helped work. She also worked in The Uniform Shop in Claremore. Wanda married Joe M. Otto on July 16, 1994. Joe also preceded her in death in December of 2010. Wanda was a member of the Church of Christ. Wanda was a lovely lady who will be so very missed by her family and many friends. Funeral Services for Wanda will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 26, 2011 in the Church of Christ in Pryor with Brother Don Nelson officiating. Interment will follow in the Hogan Cemetery with Mickey Holloway, Shane Holloway, Casey Holloway, Jimmy Chesser, Wilson Young, Johnny Young and Jason Hale serving as casket bearers. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Helen Holloway of Pryor, OK; her nieces and nephews, Laura Holloway, Mickey Holloway and his wife, Theresa of Pryor, OK, LaQuetta Nash of Rolla, MO, Ima Jean Feeler and husband, Gary of Rolla, MO, Wilson Young and wife, Janice of Salem, MO, Johnnie Young and wife, Anita of Rolla, MO, Bonnie Shelton and husband, David of Salem, MO, Marilyn Wood of Springfield, MO; step-daughter, Pam Howard and husband, Rick of Pryor, OK; step-son, Gary Otto and wife, Joann of Catoosa, OK; step-grandchildren, Kim Hawkins and husband, Brandon of Locust Grove, OK, Angela Ragsdale and husband, Johnny of Pryor, OK; step-great grandchildren, Cope Hawkins, Cole and Jonathan Ragsdale, Laura Otto, Celeste Otto and Joe Ben Otto. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Tommy Downs; second husband, Joe Otto; her brother, Wayne Holloway; her sister and brother-in-law, Evelyn Young and husband, John; her parents, Lon and Sarah Holloway.
