Wayne Schneider

Wayne R. Schneider, 72, of Adair, Oklahoma passed away on Monday, July 11, 2011 at his home in Adair. He was born on April 30, 1939 in Muscatine, Iowa, the son of Harry P. Schneider and Velma (VanZant) Schneider. He married Bette Hintermeister on June 17, 1962 at Muscatine. Wayne spent his life doing what he loved, working the ranch and farming. Wayne and his wife, Bette moved to the Adair area 17 years ago from Muscatine, Iowa. Wayne loved riding horses and being in the mountains. Wayne especially enjoyed going to the Denver stock show for many years. He loved his family, especially spending time with his grandchildren. Wayne will be remembered in all the wonderful memories he leaves his family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held in Muscatine, Iowa on Monday, July 18, 2011. Wayne is survived by his wife, Bette of the home; his son, Dean and wife, Marti Schneider of Adair, OK; daughter, Kim Schneider of Muscatine, IA; 4 grandchildren, Justin, Brandon and Carli Fix and Jasper Schneider; his sisters, Donna Carlson of Muscatine, IA, Betty Reutinger of Estes Park, CO and Shirley Grimm of Wilton, IA; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Velma Schneider.
