Willa Reardon

Willa Dean Reardon, 87, formerly of Pryor, Oklahoma and the Kansas City, Missouri area passed away on Monday, February 23, 2015 in Claremore, Oklahoma. She was born in Glencoe, Oklahoma on March 4, 1927, the daughter of William Carter Brandon and Ina Mae (Stout) Brandon. She married Dr. C. B. Pinkerton and from this union three children were born, Theresa, Benny and Renee. She earned her associate degree in business and served as past president of the Rogers, Mayes Medical Society. She was also involved in the Rotary Ann, the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and the Pryor Arts and Humanities Counsel. After 20 years of marriage she and Dr. Pinkerton ended their union, later marrying Edmund Reardon on December 22, 1972, celebrating 27 years together at his passing on January 15, 1999. Willa was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Pryor. She was a lovely lady who loved her Lord and her family. A Memorial Service to celebrate her Life will be held on March 12, 2015 at 2 p.m. in the Shipman's Funeral Chapel with Becky Hawkins officiating. She is survived by her children, Theresa and husband, Bobby Edwards of Pryor, OK, Benny and wife, Susan Pinkerton of Oak Grove, MO; her sister, Billie Jean Collins of Tulsa, OK; half brother, Loy Ralph of Garfield, AR; step-children, Pat and Jerry Zvacek of Holden, MO, Jan O'Malley of Myrtle Beach, SC, Mick and Lynn Reardon Pickerington, OH, John and Sheila Pinnell of Lee's Summit, MO, Edmund and Cheri Reardon of Lone Jack, MO; 8 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, 46 great great grandchildren and 4 great great great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Brandon and Ina Mae Brandon-Ralph; her husband, Edmund Michael Reardon; her daughter, Renee Hurley; brother, Forrest Brandon; step father, Jay Ralph.
