Willa Jane Spencer, 88, of Pryor, Oklahoma passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 in Pryor, Oklahoma. She was born on July 27, 1930 in Drumright, Oklahoma, the daughter of Marion Hines and Beulah (Kimbrough) Hines. The family lived in Drumright for several years and later lived in the Wister, Oklahoma area. She was married to Robert E. Spencer on July 27, 1946 in a double ceremony with her brother, Arville Hines and his bride Irene. Willa had two boys, Bobby Eugene Spencer born October 7, 1947 and Kenneth Dean Spencer born November 13, 1950. When the kids were young Willa worked as a cook at Owen Elementary School in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She later went back to school and became an LPN. Her life followed her husband to many cities and towns where he ministered at Free Will Baptist Churches. She always seemed to find a job at the local hospitals. She worked at Jane Phillips Hospital in Bartlesville as well as Grand Valley Hospital in Pryor. Willa loved working in the hospitals and always preferred to work in the maternity wards if possible. She had spent the last 12 years as a resident of Shady Rest Nursing Home in Pryor where she had many friends. A lovely lady of faith who loved her Lord and her family with all her heart.

Willa is survived by one son, Ken and Cindy Spencer of Pryor, OK; one sister, Wilma Huddleston of Tulsa, OK; a granddaughter, Kendra and husband, Steve Dickson of Pryor, OK; a grandsons, Charlie and wife, Heidi Spencer currently living in Dehli, India and Bobby Eugene Spencer Jr., of Santa Fe, NM; great grandchildren, Kadin, Kooper, Kyson, Karley and Kash; many nephews and nieces; many other friends. She was preceded by her husband, Robert; son, Bobby Eugene and brothers, Merle, Arville, Owen, Paul, Lloyd, and sister, Leota.
