William Butcher

William O. Butcher, Jr., 75, of Salina, Oklahoma, went to be with his Lord on November 6, 2009 at his ranch in Salina, surrounded by his family. Bill was born on March 9, 1934 in St. Charles, Michigan to William A. and Florence (Phillips) Butcher. Bill worked as an iron worker and was a member of the Iron Workers Local 584 in Tulsa, Oklahoma for over 40 years. He founded Butcher and Sons Steel. Bill loved his ranch where he raised cattle, rode his horses and spent many afternoons picnicking with his family and friends on Saline Creek. The loves of Bill's life was first of all the Lord Jesus, his wife, and children. Bill leaves many wonderful memories for his family and friends to cherish. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, November 9, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. in the Lakeview Baptist Church in Salina, Oklahoma with Rev. Bobby Belew officiating. Bill is survived by his wife, DeAndra (Reinke) Butcher of the home; his daughter, Sharlyn and Bill Dalby of Salina, OK; sons, Greg and wife, Jan Butcher, Joshua Butcher of Salina, OK, Benjamin and wife, Laura Butcher of Salina, OK, Michael and wife, Connie Butcher of Locust Grove, OK, Matthew and wife, Rochelle Butcher of Locust Grove, OK and Will and wife, Holly Butcher of Milton, FL; sisters, Beverly Westjohn of Lake Jackson, TX, Mary Sabbagh of West Bloomfield, MI, Lynn Fernandez of Los Angeles, CA; brother, Curtis Butcher of Midland, MI; grandchildren, Brandon, Chris, Elizibeth, Dana, Zac, Danielle, Bonnie, Annali, Michael, Josiah, Christina, Caitlyn, Calissa, Jamie, William, Miles, Cori, Josh, Hannah, Laura, Bethany, Sydney, Lindsey and Benjamin; great grandchildren, Chassidy, Jordan, Lilly, Lexie, Brittany, Layne, Forrest, Dalila, Eve Liane, Wyatt, Jacob and Kaysen.
