William Wayne Kitchingham was born on March 6, 1964 to Wayne and Barbara Kitchingham in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He departed this life on December 4 th , 2021 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 57 years, 8 months, and 28 days. Will was a graduate of Mannford High School in 1982 and went on to receive both a Bachelor’s and Master’s from Saint Gregory’s University. He was in sales for numerous years most recently with ORS Nasco. Will started his journey as a music and youth minister at the age of 19 years old and went on to serve many more years in the ministry. He most recently served as Associate Pastor at Alluwe Baptist Church in Alluwe, Oklahoma. Will also enjoyed singing for the Lord and went on to minister through gospel music for many years. He founded the gospel quartet New Revival which he stayed a member of for ten years. Will enjoyed ministering, witnessing about Jesus, and supporting those around him. He also enjoyed watching football, hallmark movies with his wife, collecting diecast cars, and spending as much time as possible with his kids and grandchildren. He was an amazing man who was loved very much and will be deeply missed.
He is survived his mother Barbara Ann Kitchingham of Verdigris, OK. His wife Kimberly Kitchingham of Adair, OK. His daughters Elizabeth Scalley and husband Jason of Minnesota and Emily Kitchingham of Adair, OK. His honorary adopted children Andrew Thompson of Texas and Hannah Thompson of Salina, Oklahoma. His sister Bethel King and husband Mark of Crystal Beach, Texas and brother in-law Patrick Lacy of Sand Springs, OK. Five grandchildren Edward Scalley, Wyatt Scalley, Aubree Scalley, Barrett Wirths, and Stetson Wirths. Along with 8 nieces and nephews, 13 great nieces and nephews, an aunt, and many cousins. William is preceded in death by his father Wayne Edward Kitchingham, his son Zachary Wayne Kitchingham, and brother in-law Brian Paul Lacy.
Funeral services for William will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 10, 2021 in the Pleasant Hope Baptist Church in Adair, Oklahoma with Brother Eddy Mathews officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Shipman’s Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his memory to John 3:16 Mission or The Gideon’s Bible Ministry.
