William Littledave, Sr., a dedicated and hardworking individual, passed away on September 19, 2023, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Born on April 7, 1940, in Kenwood, Oklahoma, William led a remarkable life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Throughout his life, one aspect that remained constant was his career at Wickliffe Public School. For an impressive 38 years, William worked tirelessly for the school system, exemplifying dedication and commitment. He rarely missed a day of work and took great pride in his role as a bus driver. Interacting with students brought him immense joy as he traversed the roads behind the wheel. His kindness and friendly nature left an indelible mark on the lives of countless children who rode in his bus. He made sure the school was in tip top shape every day and safe for all the students.
While William was dedicated to his work, he held an unwavering love for his family. Spending time with his kids and grandkids brought him boundless happiness. Family dinners were especially treasured moments for William as he recognized the importance of gathering together and creating lasting memories.
When not engaged in family activities, William enjoyed watching a variety of sports including softball, wrestling, and pretty much any sporting event that aired on television. He was also an avid viewer of shows such as "Family Feud" and court room dramas. These interests showcased his fun-loving spirit and his zest for life.
The impact made by William Littledave on those around him is immeasurable. His kind heart touched everyone fortunate enough to know him. He had a way of making people feel valued and loved through his genuine interactions and warm demeanor.
William will forever be remembered by his children, William "Nooge" Littledave and wife Chanda of Kenwood, Oklahoma; Ike Littledave of Kenwood; and Wilma Cummings of Pryor; He will also be deeply missed by his grandkids, Cullen, Hillary, Ariel, Lila, Shelby, Logan, CJ, Oodie, Brayden, and Justine. Sisters Mina Littledave and Molly Pashos. His niece Sophia Hodson held a special place in his heart.
He was preceded in death by his wife Linda Littledave, his parents, Charlie and Lucy (Wolfe) Littledave; son Charlie Littledave; daughter Lillian Raper; great grandchildren, Kennedy Brickey and Kaden Cummings; and brothers, Jess Grass and Charlie Littledave.
