He would adapt to anything to meet his needs. He earned his private pilot's license in 1964 and was an inventor; enjoying designing and building. He played in a band and loved music; he learned how to play many musical instruments. William traveled all over Oklahoma playing music and singing. He also had his own radio program in the mid 1950's. He was a member of the Quiet Birdmen Association and lived in the Coweta area for 15 years, coming from Tulsa and Big Cabin.
