Wilma Miller

Wilma Jean Miller, 63, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on Thursday, November 18, 2010. She was born on February 18, 1947 in Claremore, Oklahoma. She was raised in the Salina area and attended Sequoyah Schools. She attended Bacone College in Muskogee. Wilma worked for the Oklahoma Methodist Manor Care Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, retiring in 2008. She enjoyed playing with grandchildren, sewing and crocheting. Wilma was a member of the New Jordan Baptist Church. She was a lovely lady who will be so very missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, November 23, 2010 in the New Jordan Church in Salina, Oklahoma with Reverend Richard Pickup officiating. Interment will be in the Grass Cemetery at Salina, Oklahoma with Whitney Miller, Joe Hair, Justin Morris, Ricky Morris, Anthony Morris, Johnny Morris and Taylor Morris serving as casket bearers. She is survived by her daughter, Alicia Ross of Tulsa, Oklahoma; son, Whitney Miller and wife, Lara of Lafayette, IN; her brothers, John Hair of Kenwood, OK and Raymond Hair of Cudahy, CA; her sisters, Galila Henry Johnson of El Reno, OK and Letha Morris of Salina, OK; three granddaughters, Brittany Ross of Tulsa, OK, Raven Dimanche of Tulsa, OK and Sheena Ross of Oklahoma City, OK; one grandson, Whitney Rios of AR; five great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mollie Ross; step-father, Levi Arneecher and grandmother, Anna Ross.
