Wineva Goins

The daughter of Doris Dixson, Jean was born in Casper, Wyoming on August 17, 1943. She passed away on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at her home in Chouteau at the age of 67. Jean was lovingly raised by her aunt uncle Edmond Jessie Budka. Jean moved to Pryor in the late 1960's from Seattle, Washington. She was employed with Burris Insurance Agency for many years, as well as Insurance Professionals in Pryor. Jean was married to Mr. John Goins on August 4, 1989 in Miami, Oklahoma. She and John loved antiques and owned the Cross Road Mall in Locust Grove for 10 years. Jean was a member of the Pentecostal faith. She will be so very missed by all who knew and loved her. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, September 2, 2010 in the Big Cabin Cemetery at Big Cabin, Oklahoma with Becki Hawkins officiating. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Jean is survived by 2-sons; Leon Wilsie wife Renee of Locust Grove, OK; Stephen Proctor and fiancé Michelle Terry of the home; 1 Granddaughter, Sara Nicole Wilsie; 2 very special grand dogs Blitz Molly; she is also survived by her brother Bill Rabbit wife Karen of Pryor, OK and sister Dorene Rabbit of Salina, OK; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband John on April 29, 2009, 2 brothers; Jimmy John Rabbit.
